In his affidavit to the Jerusalem Center for Social and Economic Rights, JCSER, Abdullatif Geith, Director of the Ramallah-based Association for Human Rights, Al-Dameer, said:

"On October 9, I was summoned to the police station in the Russian compound to meet an Israeli intelligence officer in plain cloth who identified himself as Ala'. He informed me about a military order, signed by Commander of Israeli Army in West Bank, Avi Mizrahi, which stipulates that..

After being convinced with tangible doubt, and in order to protect the security of the state, for a compulsory issue to protect the security of citizens, I order Abdellatif Shihadeh Geith to be prohibited from entering the area of Judea and Samaria, or to present in them, except by my order until April 3, 2012.

"I consider this an arbitrary, illegal and immoral order for two reasons: 1st it is a violation of one of my basic rights which is the right to free movement in my homeland. 2nd, I consider myself a protected person since I dedicate human rights through the organization that I preside, in accordance with the declaration of the UN General Assembly regarding human rights advocates.
