Jerusalem municipality approved building 32 settlement units in Ras al-Amud

Israel's Jerusalem municipality approved a plan to build 32 settlement units, stores and offices in Ras al-Amud in occupied East Jerusalem.
The plans holds number 12259 and it will be implemented opposite to Maale Hazeitim settlement in the area the Israelis call as Maale David.
According to settlement expert Khalil Tufakji, the new settlement enclave will be established in place of the current petrol station and the surrounding lands on the main street to Ras al-Amud and Izariyeh.
