Israeli authorities arrested on Sunday two Palestinian children from the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud on charges of stone throwing incidents.

The two children: Othman Abu Madi, 10, and Mohammad Saleh al-Risheq, 9, were arrested from the street while on their way home from a store in their neighborhood of Ras al-Amud.

Reporting the incident to JCSER, Abu Madi said:
"I left the house to the store on Sunday, in order to buy chips and chocolate, but before that, I headed to the house of my friend Mohammad al-Risheq in our neighborhood so that he can accompany me to the store on our bikes. After we bought and ate chips and chocolate, we returned home. However, on our way back, I saw a black Golf car in the street, but I did not care since the situation was normal. But suddenly, the car stopped in front of us and a group of men in black uniforms get out of it, including one who was carrying a gun. One of them snatched al-Risheq from his bike and threw him inside the back seat of the car."
He continued, "At that moment, I felt very scared and began to ran away, but four men started to chase me. One of them was able to catch me after a while, and he threw me inside the car near al-Risheq who was crying. I thought they were settlers who might beat or kill me. The men in the car did not speak with us, but were talking to each other in Hebrew. I also heard one of them ordering al-Risheq to shut up. Afterwards, they drove us to the police station which locates near the post office in Salah el-Din Street."
Abu Madi added, "There, they interrogated me in my mom presence about stone throwing incidents, but I denied all the charges. Later, they released me after I was threatened by one of the investigators to impose a high fine on me in case I am arrested again."
