Israeli authorities distribute new demolition orders in Silwan

Employees of Israel's Jerusalem municipality escorted with police force raided on Wednesday the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan and distributed new demolition orders.

According to head of the Committee to Defend Silwan Lands, Fakhri Abu Diab, the municipality employees distributed dozen of administrative demolition orders among residents of Beer Ayoub and al-Bustan on the pretext that their houses were built without construction licenses.

Among the residents who received such orders, Maher Abdel Razaq Siyam who received earlier such similar orders. He reported that the municipality staff attacked his brother Hamoudeh during their raid.

Abu Diab added, that the Palestinian population of Silwan are used to such every Wednesday.
