Israel's Jerusalem municipality forced on Thursday a Palestinian to demolish his workshop in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud.

Akram Issa Musa al-Abbasi was obliged to demolish his 90 sq. meters Aluminum workshop by himself to evade further municipal fines and costs of demolition.

The municipality issued al-Abbasi an ultimatum that expires on March 10, to demolish his workshop or else new fines will be imposed on him.

According to Abbasi's cousin Musa, the municipality collected from the workshop owner NIS 52,000 in fines for claims that he lacks construction permit.
