New Israeli law to encourage settlements in WB

Print PDF

The Israeli ministerial legislation committee approved on Sunday a draft law to except donations from taxes aimed at disseminating Zionist values and settlement. According to Fatah revolutionary council member Dimitri Diliani, the draft law allows for a 35% tax redemption on donations for settlements and disseminating Zionist values contrary to human values and responsible for our peoples tragedy. He said these donations would tangibly contribute to the increase in illegal settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories and will increase the reasons not to re-launch the political process. Diliani stressed that the Likud government is leading the Palestinian street towards more extremism, which is killing any hopes for stability in the Middle East.
