Print PDF

Under the auspices of al-Azhar's Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayeb, an international campaign will be launched on Wednesday to break the siege on Jerusalem.

According to Secretary General of Jerusalem Support Conference, Saeed Hasan Khaled, the first meeting of the campaign will discuss the latest developments in Jerusalem and Israels measures and attempts to cut Jerusalem off from the rest of Palestine and displace its residents. He expected the meeting would result in a document of support for the Palestinians in Jerusalem and defend their holy sites, adding that Muslim and Christian representatives of Jerusalem will be at the meeting along with Arab League representatives.
