The visit of Israel's Jerusalem Mayor Nit Barkat to a girls school in Isawiyeh village on Tuesday instigated violence between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters.

During the clashes, two people injured including AF cameraman and two youth were arrested.

Barkat entered the school to find placards with the words No to Judiazation and no to Nir Barkats visit in front of him. Students also hung pictures of prisoner Khader Adnan and Palestinian flags in the school.
