JCSER warns against Israeli plan to build a bridge to connect the Jewish quarters of the Old City to the Al-Aqsa mosque gate. The building of the bridge would violate the holy sites property and all of its components. This violation is coupled with the excavation activities done under the holy site under the pretext of repairs and renovations were aimed to weaken the foundations of the structure that directly threaten the physical existence of the site and its buildings.

These violations are part of a clear policy to destroy and occupy the holy site to answer fanatical calls by Jewish extremists. They also constitute a direct attack and aggression on the Islamic religion. These actions are also a clear violation to the right of freedom of religion that the Israeli authorities falsely claim. This hypocritical policy will eventually lead to clashes between Moslem worshipers and Jewish extremists trying to attack and occupy one of Islams holiest sites.

JCSER calls on International community to interfere and influence the Israeli authorities to stop facilitating such aggressive behaviors by Jewish extremist groups.
