Obliging the Israeli Ministry of Interior to reunite two Palestinian Jerusalemite families

Print PDF

Recently, JCSER was able to attain another two orders from the Israeli Central Court obliging the Israeli Ministry of Interior to approve two separate family reunification applications for two Palestinian Jerusalemite families.

The first application was for Walid Al Abbasi, a resident of the Silwan neighborhood. His wife's application was approved after years of illegal delays until the Court obliged it to process the application and because the application has already met all of the Ministry's requirements it was consequently approved.

The second application was for Sundus Da'as, a resident of the Old City. Her children's application was approved after it was rejected because her children surpassed the age of seventeen. However, the court did not accept the Ministry's reason for rejecting the application and ordered it to approve the application.
