The Jerusalem Center for Social & Economic Rights (JCSER) has obtained a court decision postponing the demolition of Tawfiq Muheisens house in the Al-Issawiyya neighborhood of Occupied Jerusalem for one year and a half.

JCSER lawyer Mohammed Qadah, who is following up the case, said, the court decision allows Mr. Muheisen to carry out the procedures necessary in order to obtain a building permit during the postponement period. However, the Court meanwhile imposed a 41,500-shekel fine on Mr. Muheisen, payable in 60 monthly installments - an average of 750 shekels per payment.
