200,000-Shekel Arnona (Property) Tax Cancelled

Print PDF

The Jerusalem Center for Social & Economic Rights (JCSER) has obtained the cancellation of 200,000 shekels out of a total 350,000 shekels Arnona (property) tax imposed by the West Jerusalem Municipality on Tayseer Al-Jabari, a Palestinian Jerusalemite resident of the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood of Occupied East Jerusalem.

JCSER lawyer Ziad Qawar, who followed up the case, said the cancellation decision was based on the limitation law, whereas the remaining balance of 150,000 shekels will be settled in accordance with an agreement between Mr. Al-Jabari and the Bailiff Office in charge of collecting the remaining amount.
