JCSER returns national insurance benefits to three Palestinian Jerusalemite families

Print PDF

Israeli Labor Court issued three separate rulings this week in Occupied Jerusalem obliging the National Insurance Institute (NII) to reinstate the national insurance benefits to three Palestinian Jerusalemite families. The rulings were in response to petitions submitted by the Center to the Israeli labor court.

Accordingly, the rulings returned national insurance benefits to Ashraf Meraish effective June 2002, old age pension to Akram Saq-Allah effective August 2001, and national insurance benefits to Said Al-bibi effective September 2001. The court also approved a settlement agreement between the Center and the NII.
