The Jerusalem Center for Social and Economic Rights was able to get the Ministry of Interior Office's approval to issue ID cards to three siblings and renew their mother’s ID card after they previously rejected the siblings’ request.
Lawyer Dina Shibli said, “according to the Ministry of Interior’s decision Myser, Hibah and Dawoud Totah were granted ID cards and renewed Alia’s (mother) ID card.”
The Palestinian Jerusalemite, Alia, came to JCSER on January 25, 2003 asking for legal assistance to issue three ID cards for her children and renew her ID card. After communications with the Ministry of Interior Office lasted for about one and a half years, the Ministry of Interior Office granted the siblings’ and the mother’s request.
