Obliging the Israeli Ministry of Interior to appropriately treat a family reunification application

JCSER obtained from the Israeli Central Court an order obliging the Ministry of Interior to properly treat a family reunification application submitted by Jerusalemite Dawoud Dajani to be reunited with his wife. The decision included an order not to deport Mrs. Dajani and granted her residency status while the application is in the treatment process.The application was submitted with the supporting documents back in 1999 by Mr. Dajani to be reunited with his wife in Jerusalem advocate Dina Shibli said. Mr. Dajani turned to the Center after he received a rejection letter from Ministry of Interior on December 18, 2002.
