Israeli Ministry of Interior approves three family reunification applications for three Jerusalemite families

Print PDF

After an unjustifiable delay for several years by the Ministry of Interior, JCSER managed to attain the Ministrys approval on family reunification applications for three Jerusalemite families.

The Ministry Interiors approval was granted after JCSER submitted several petitions to the Israeli Central Court, that issued an order obliging the Ministry of Interior to grant its approval on the three applications, said advocate Ziad Quwar. Mr. Quwar also clarified that the applications belonged to Idriss, Al-Rishiq and Nassar families respectively. These applications were submitted to the Ministry of Interior before the Israeli government issued its decision on May 12, 2002 to stop accepting new family reunification applications, which it does not apply to the above-mentioned cases.
