JCSER attained a temporary order halting the Ministry of Interior form deporting a six member Jerusalemite family. The Center petitioned the Israeli court after it failed to convince the Ministry of Interior to reissue an ID card to the mother of five children. The Ministry of Interior revoked her ID back in 1985 claiming that she was residing with her husband in Jericho since 1979, said advocate Samir Suliman.

Mr. Suliman added, in the last court session the court issued a temporary order halting the deportation process of the mother and her five children and the Centers client has sufficient documents and evidence that she has been residing in Jerusalem since 1979.
