Arnona tax debts settled

The Jerusalem Center for Social & Economic Rights (JCSER) has obtained a court decision, under which the Bailiff Office and the Arnona Department agreed that Arnona tax debts of NIS 68,000 requested from Khader Mohammed Yassin Islimi will be paid in monthly installments of NIS 100.

All measures taken against the client will be rescinded, given that he will be called for an investigation session.

The Center also succeeded in obtaining a similar decision in favor of Mohammed Odeh Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa, a resident of the At-Tur neighborhood of Occupied Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Municipality requested that he settles NIS 109,000 in Arnona tax debts and water bills.

The Bailiffs Office agreed that the debt would again be paid in monthly installments of NIS 100, and the client will be called for an investigation session.

A court order was also obtained in favor of Mohammed Hasan Abu Dweih, who was requested to pay NIS 17,500 in Arnona tax debts.

The Municipality agreed that the amount would be paid off in monthly installments of NIS 100. In addition, the Bailiffs Office cancelled all measures taken against the client.
