National insurance & child benefits reinstated

The District Labor Court in Occupied Jerusalem has approved a National Insurance Institutes decision to accept that Samira Roud is a permanent resident of Israel, as of March 2001.

Her new status as permanent resident also entitles her to claim to health insurance and child benefits, from the same date.

The Court gave the NII 30 days to reply to Samiras application that her permanent residency began prior to March 2001, given that the NII discontinued her entitlements of child benefits and national insurance in 2000.
