Court Order Obtained

The Israeli Central Court in Occupied Jerusalem has issued a decision preventing the Israeli Interior Ministry from deporting Awad Mansours family until the Court studies the case.

The Court gave the Interior Ministry 30 days to reply to the family reunification application submitted by Mr. Mansour.

Lawyer Ashraf Seif from the Jerusalem Center for Social & Economic Rights (JCSER) is following-up Mr.Mansours case.

It is worth mentioning that during January 2003, the Center succeeded in obtaining temporary court orders preventing some 15 Jerusalemite families from being deported.
