The Israeli TV Channel Ten said last night that the Israeli Housing Ministry published a call for tenders to build hundreds of settlement units in Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem. According to the TV the tenders include the building of 692 housing units that are scheduled to be built in Neve Yacov, Pisgat Zeev and Har Homa settlements. Israeli sources said the tenders were granted last night after the approval of the Israeli government on them in its session yesterday afternoon. The sources said the companies are expected to start construction this week.
