She was accompanied by Hanna Amireh, member of PLO Executive Committee and member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Peoples Party, Director General of JCSER, and Fadwa Khader, member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Peoples Party.

The delegation witnessed the demolition of parts of a six-floor building in Beit Safafa. Parliament member noticed that one of the heavy equipment used in the demolition was made in Sweden and promised to raise the issue in the Sweden Parliament, as well as the demolitions in Occupied East Jerusalem on the popular and official levels and on the European Parliament level.

The delegation visited the sit-in tents in Silwan, Shufat Refugee Camp, and Ras Khamis near the Camp, and witnessed the difficulties and hardships facing Palestinian Jerusalemites due to the military checkpoints, Israels construction of the Apartheid Wall, and settlement expansion, in addition to the demolition of Palestinian houses by the Jerusalem Municipality in Jerusalem, especially following the election of Nir Barkat.

The delegation met with the popular committee and people in the sit-in tents and listened to a detailed explanation of the demolition campaign aimed at emptying the city of its original inhabitants.

Mr. Amireh confirmed that the demolition campaign has become a nightmare and the sit-in tents will increase to hundreds if the campaign continues.
