Nabil Said al-Kurd, a resident of Sheikh Jarrah reported to the Jerusalem Center for Social and economic rights that one of the settlers' dogs attacked him on December 12.

He told JCSER's field worker, "While I was standing on the side walk with a group of friends in front the door of my house, I heard a sound of chains rubbing the ground. But what when I entered the yard of my house, I saw one settler grapping the chains of a big dog who attacked me and bite my genitals. Later, the settlers took the dog out of my yard.

He ran with the dog after the kids of our neighborhood. My son Muhammad, 13, escaped the seen together with the other kids. Later, the settler got inside the house where he resides after taking it over from Palestinians families.

I went to my doctor for medical test and later reported the incident to the police, but one of the policemen accused me of lying and acting. When I called the police again, they responded by saying that as long as the dog is inside the house, they cannot do anything.
