The Murderer Referred by an Israeli Judge to a Psychological Test JCSER: Judge's Referral Decision an Introduction To Justify His Release

The Jerusalem Center for Social & Economic Rights (JCSER) described the killing of Tayseer Al-Karaki as 'horrible', calling for the punishment of the murderer.

The Center's Director General, scoffed at the story narrated by the police who claimed that the murderer suffers from 'psychological disorders'.

He said, 'the victim is a Palestinian citizen and the murderer is either mentally-disturbed or suffers from psychological disorders, warning of what he described as the 'Israeli flood of madness''.

He was surprised at the Conciliation Court Judge's decision to refer the murderer to a psychological test, in an attempt to justify his release at a later time.

'The appearance of the murderer in the court moving his hands and tongue is an exquisite acting that has been coordinated in advance,' he added.

He concluded by saying, 'this crime and the previous crimes committed by Jewish extremists against Palestinian Jerusalemites is a translation of the wave of instigation that dominate statements made by Israeli officials against the Palestinian presence in Occupied East Jerusalem.'

He recalled the recent Israeli report which warned of the Palestinian demographic danger in Jerusalem.
